New to You Thrift Store

About the Store 

The New to You store is a recycling centre for clean and gently used clothing, toys, books, housewares and small appliances. Volunteers sort these donations and prepare them for sale. The proceeds from the sale of these items are donated to Groves Hospital to purchase state-of-the-art equipment.

Due to space restrictions and safety precautions the New to You Store does not accept the following items:

  • Large Appliances

  • Floor model TVs/Stereos

  • Large Furniture

  • Mattresses and Box springs

  • Bed Frames and Head boards

  • All baby equipment 

  • Ski Equipment 

  • Computers and Printers 

  • All sports helmets and Face Protection

  • Exercise Equipment 

  • Ceiling Fans

  • E-Waste

  • Encyclopedia / Reader's Digest / Magazines / Textbooks

  • Food Items

  • Medical Equipment

  • Roller Blades

  • Sewing Machines

 Please note: On occasion the store needs to put holds on certain donation areas due to storage and space availability.
